Passenger liability insurance vehicles

Cayo Adventure Tours guarantees clean, comfortable and reliable tour vehicles on each and every tour.  We have a fleet of ten tour vehicles which include three tour buses, two vans, two suburbans, and three SUV’s.  They are subjected to a strict maintenance program and are checked and cleaned daily.  All vehicles carry full passenger liability insurance and meet the standards of the Belize Transport Authority and the Belize Tourism Board.

Our vehicles are suitable for all types of Belizean terrain and range from small SUV’s for 1 – 3 persons to the larger 24-Seater buses which are fitted with comfortable reclining seats.  Cayo Adventure Tours also feature water transportation like canoes and kayaks which we use for our river tours on the Macal and Mopan rivers and in the Barton Creek Water Cave.  

The vehicles we use on our tours are our own and are not rented unlike several tour companies in Cayo.  We make sure all seatbelts are functional, tires in good condition, air-conditioner working properly, and all vehicles fitted with basic tools, a fire extinguisher and first aid kit.  Reliability, safety, and comfort are the three issues we emphasize when sending out one of our vehicles on any tour.
